NGC 4559 from BMV Observatories
NGC 4559 (Caldwell 36) is a magnitude 10.4 spiral galaxy in Coma Berenices. It is estimated to be 29 Mly away. Distorted dark lanes, magenta nebulae, and star-forming regions can be seen in the image.

Camera: Apogee Alta U8300 L bin2 and RGB bin3
Guiding: SBIG ST 402 with On Axis Guider (ONAG)
Exposure: LRGB - L:21x10, R:14x8 min, G:12x6 min, B:14x10 min - Total 9 hrs
Processing: Image acquisition using CCD Autopilot. Initial processing was done using Maxim DL with subsequent processing with Photoshop.
