NGC 4517  from BMV Observatories
NGC 4517, also known as NGC 4437, is a magnitude 10.5 edge-on galaxy in Virgo. It has an apparent size of 9.8 x 1.5 arc minutes.

Optics: Hyperion f/8 12.5 inch, FL 2540 mm
Mount: Paramount ME
Camera: Apogee Alta U8300, guiding by On Axis Guider (ONAG) with an ST402
Exposure: LRGB: L:22x10 min R:12x8 min, G:8x6 min, B:10x10 min, Total= 7.7 hours
Processing: Image acquisition using CCD Autopilot. Initial processing was done using Maxim DL with subsequent processing with Photoshop.
