M81, NGC 3031, or 'Bode's Galaxy' as it is known is a magnitude 6.9 spiral galaxy in Ursa Major and part of the so-called M81 group of galaxies. It has an apparent size of 25.7 arc minutes, and is estimated to be 12 million light years away.

Mount: Paramount ME
Camera: Apogee Alta U8300, guiding by On Axis Guider (ONAG) with an ST402
Exposure: LRGB: L:24x10 min R:19x8 min, G:16x6 min, B:20x10 min, Total= 11.5 hours
Processing: Image acquisition using CCD Autopilot. Initial processing was done using Maxim DL with subsequent processing with Photoshop.
