Messier 5 (M5, NGC 5905) is a magnitude 5.6 globular cluster in the constellation of Serpens, and is located at a distance of about 24,500 light years.

Camera: SBIG ST-8XME / CFW-8
Guiding: ST-8XME integral guiding chip controlled by Maxim CCD
Exposure: LRGB unbinned: Luminance: 16x5 min, R:8x5 min, G:8x3 min, B: 8x6min for a total of 3.2 hours
Processing: Image acquisition using CCD Autopilot. Initial processing was done using Maxim DL with subsequent processing with Photoshop.
