M38 from BMV Observatories
Messier 38 (M38, NGC 1912) is a magnitude 7.4 open cluster in Auriga. It spans 21 arc minutes and is rich in colorful stars. To the lower right in the image is the open cluster NGC 1907, which is 6 arc minutes wide.

Exposure: RGB - R:12x5 min, G:8x5 min, B:10x5 min for a total of 2.5 hrs
Processing: Image acquisition using CCD Autopilot. Initial processing was done using Maxim DL with subsequent processing with Photoshop.
