M16 from BMV Observatories
Messier 16 (M16, NGC 6611) is a magnitude 6 open cluster/diffuse emission nebula (IC 4703) in the constellation of Serpens Cauda, and is located at a distance of about 7,000 light years.

Optics: Meade LX200R 12 inch at f/5.9
Mount: Paramount ME
Camera: SBIG ST-8XME / CFW-8
Guiding: ST-8XME integral guiding chip controlled by Maxim CCD
Exposure: LHaGB - Luminance: 5x6 min, Ha:9x10 min, G:5x5 min, B:5x8min (L unbinned and color binned 2x2)
Processing: Image acquisition using CCD Autopilot. Initial processing was done using Maxim DL with subsequent processing with Photoshop.
